About Me

She co-founded the Massage Academy of the South now known as Medical Training College.   She successfully operated the massage school, her private massage clinic, Baton Rouge Massage Therapy before relocating to Los Angeles.

Ms. Chauvin graduated with honors from California State University-Dominguez Hills in 2008 with an MS in Occupational Therapy and was the Director of Rehabilitation for the Mark Taper Skilled Nursing Facility at the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging before returning to Baton Rouge to start Wellspring.

Michele began studying with John F. Barnes, PT in the early 1990s. She has continued to study with Mr. Barnes to enhance her myofascial release skills to provide the most up to date and effective treatment possible to reduce pain and improve mobility/range of motion. John F. Barnes, PT has trained over 100,000 therapists and physicians, is an international lecturer, author and authority on Myofascial Release. He is a physical therapist and is considered to be a visionary and teacher of the highest caliber.
